Student Entrepreneur to host “The Creators Project”
For Immediate Release
ALTON, ONTARIO March 15, 2019 – Aaron Goodison is the owner of Loose Threads Vintage, a clothing shop that specializes in vintage pieces for consumers wanting a unique and customized look to their wardrobe. The 17 year old is a student at Orangeville District Secondary school with aspirations to study Fashion Management. Goodison is currently producing The Creators Project, a showcase for young artists, musicians and business owners.
Goodison’s original idea was to organize a Pop-Up for his vintage clothing shop, Loose Threads Vintage, that offers specialized vintage clothing pieces through an Instagram account. The idea expanded into creating an event to help other young entrepreneurs and artists get exposure to their creative ventures. The showcase is comprised of booths from fashion vendors, installations from artists, as well as live music. Goodison has received lots of support and enthusiasm from the Alton community, a local hub known for its artistic spirit.
“It’s exciting to see the direction my original idea has taken. I started off wanting a place to sell my clothing but then thought other young business owners might be in the same position and things just took off. It’s all coming together pretty quickly and I have a lot of really talented bands and local artists booked already. The support has been incredible. It’s going to be a great event and provide exposure to some really talented young people” said Goodison.
Goodison is still accepting vendors, artists, and bands for spots during the event and is interested in speaking with any Food Truck owners.
